Project Overview

The 40 Leadenhall Street development, also known as "Gotham City," is a significant office-led project in London's financial district. The building features a series of stepped blocks, rising up to 34 storeys. The project aims to provide approximately 905,000 square feet of prime office space.

SPL was contracted to supply, install, test, and commission several electrical packages on this project, including;

  • Power-assisted doors and decorative lighting for 17 terraces designated for office and restaurant use.

  • External lighting for the City of London.

  • Fire curtain cabling in both the basement and ground floor areas.

  • Provided off-site support and constructed fire test mock-up installations.

  • Installed a Sikla framework system throughout the entire basement of the Grade II listed building on
    Billiter Street.

  • Data & security cabling systems in various areas across the project.

  • Installed decorative lighting within the atrium trees.
