Project Overview
The Cloud House Phase 2 project for Digital Realty involved the comprehensive fit-out of data halls across five floors within their state-of-the-art Cloud House data centre in Canary Wharf. The scope of work included delivering advanced mechanical and electrical services across all five levels, seamlessly integrating the new systems within a live data centre environment. This complex project successfully brought five new CAT A data halls online, enhancing the facility's capacity and operational efficiency while maintaining uninterrupted service throughout the installation process.
SPL were engaged to provide qualified electrical services management, supervision, and labour for the installation of various systems, including:

LV Distribution Boards, Lighting Control Panels, and ATSs – Including all associated wiring and connections.

Primary and Secondary Containment – High and low-level containment for lighting, small power, AV/data, security systems, and final accessories.

Fire Stopping – Using fire bags in trunking and lidded trays as required.

Final Circuits and Accessories – Installation and connection of power outlets, lighting control modules, security panels, luminaires, and other electrical components.

Lighting Control Systems – Including area controllers, central battery systems, lighting control modules, sensors, and suspension kits for luminaires and track lighting.

Earthing and Bonding – Equipotential bonding for extraneous metals, ceilings, and desks as specified.

Fault Free Handover – Verifying installation integrity through fault free handover before testing & commissioning carried out by others.
